Help us to spread the word by letting interested colleagues know. We hope to see you there!
The rest of IMCC is also now accepting abstracts. Here’s some info from IMCC5 Communications Chair Matt Tietbohl:
IMCC5 Call for Abstracts is Now Open!!
Have you just uncovered interesting results in your marine science research? Has a conservation issue you work with recently taken the come into focus? Does a new marine policy need discussion? Is there a marine conservation issue or cause that needs to be heard?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then you are in luck! The 5th International Marine Conservation Congress (IMCC5) has opened its Call for Abstracts! IMCC5 is the premier marine conservation meeting worldwide, with a diverse range of attendees including researchers, students, teachers, NGO & government workers, and journalists. This summer from the 24-29th of June, 2018, IMCC5 will be hosted in the beautiful city of Kuching in Malaysia.
The Call for Abstracts is open for oral (spoken), speed (short spoken), and poster presentations in our effort to showcase the most up-to-date marine conservation science, policy and communication. The Call will be open until 23:59 (NDT) on March 16th, 2018, so there’s still plenty of time to submit an abstract after reading this!
We are greatly looking forward to receiving a wide range of abstracts detailing all kinds of exciting marine conservation research and other stories, and we hope to see you and your friends next in Kuching this summer!
